But seriously like...I am actually so fucking elated. Winning a fucking competition was my major goal going into this season, and to win an HoH?? ON week 3?? Against some people who are really fucking good at competitions?  I am like really happy, and it's nice to finally see this side of big brother. But it's definitely stressful. I can only nominate from 8 people, and they are people that I am MOSTLY close with, so it's a bit frustrating. But that's the game! Being HOH is a great way to prove to these people that I am loyal to them. Before, I could only prove my loyalty to those that are on the block by not voting for them. This is a great way to frame it as "hey I didn't nominate you because I like you, so don't nominate me  ". So I'm definitely going to take my time before the nominations to shore up some connections, both within my clique and within the other one. Regarding targets: I've definitely decided that one of them is Jen. As soon as I won HoH, her first message to me was "no hard feelings" which...loll. I think she was expecting me to put her up, and like...to be honest I was. She's not wrong. BUT, in running around with her head cut off asking for votes to save her, she has made herself my target when she probably would've just been a pawn. No one else from that clique is expecting me to put them up I think, so I'd definitely prefer her leave. Plus, she's my DT and I'd prefer the points. So my line of thinking becomes ... who can I put up that will a. make it more likely jen leaves and b. will minimize damage to my own game. And there isn't a GOOD answer to that question, imo. I've been asking around about the second nom, and the two suggestions I've been getting are Porsche and Erika. Erika because she hasn't really connected to too many people that well HOWEVER is also pretty likable. I think she could stay against Jen. Regarding Porsche, let's just say that I think it's funny how clever some people think they are. A line I've been getting a lot is "Oh if you put up Porsche she definitely stays against Jen," which like I do not really buy. Porsche is SUCH an appetizing target and imo will leave as soon as she is the final nominee on the block. Do these people really think they can trick me into putting her up? So I think I will eventually put up Erika. But I'm going to let people talk with me and try to influence me. I love being HoH |

I just learned a cruel lesson of being HoH: Shit never goes the way you want it to.
I don't really have a clear target with the rest of these noms, so my M.O. has got to be just minimizing damage. Which is interesting, because idk which nom does that either. I've decided on Steve though. He hasn't been super active, so like ... it's just the easiest thing for me to do. Plus, I still remember our relationship from our past season :xxxx he's a rat lolloll and I honestly will never be able to get a read on him because he's kind of fake and doesn't entirely think for himself.
I think that's going to piss off my allies in kels/shelli though. Kels told me that me putting steve up is "not good for my game" which I feel like translates to "not good for her game" but I digress. It shouldn't be enough like .. long term damage I feel like? Everyone else will understand anyway that I'm just playing it safe after being given a shitty hand.
other potential noms I heard around from people were Porsche and Arlie. Arlies been ticking me off a bit lately, so that was definitely a tempting option, but I'm pretty sure he considers me a close ally. And Porsche is someone who I put in a LOT of work with with this HoH in order to get in good with her, so putting her up just sounds like a fucking stupid idea.
But yeah. Shitty week. That's the game though.

kels is crazy loooool I guess she went mega hard in the paint to get steve to stay, which is fine. but people got mega sketched out bc  ? i dunno. I guess kels was being kinda forceful (not surprising) and that turned people off. Whatever. I was kinda busy today so i just kinda ignored it. tbh, just wanted to check out after posting that re-nom and enjoy the day off, basically so then tonight kelsey just comes at me. she's like I KNOW YOU TOLD ARLIE THAT I SUGGESTED HIM FOR RENOM!!! which, oops, i did. but im not gonna confirm that for her. I guess arlie went around saying kels was bullying and strongarming, which i'm not surprised at all. then others started saying it as well i guess?? But again, no one would really give me specifics. and again kels comes at me and is like ... basically trying to say it's my fault that people were saying she was a bully? that I didn't do enough to dispel the claims (that I didn't even know were being uttered!)? that she was just following MY WISHES SO WHY SHOULD SHE BE BEING CALLED A BULLY!!! Like, gonna be honest, the woman is delusional. If people think you're being a bully there's like definitely a reason. And that reason is that you were probably KINDA BEING A BULLY?? the fact that she can't have any self awareness is mind boggling to me. |
