Shelli's POV Week Three

Although I love this POV, the "POV" in the title is actually more about my "point of view" and how it's changed this week...

which I'll get into in a bit... 

Can I just say this is an amazing photo and depiction of the house? I spent more time during the veto (hard veto lol) trying to figure out why Erika is on top of the house, why Michael is a ghost bear and what Cody is doing creeping up at the side of the pool, than finding vetoes. 

Shout out to my Season 14 girls who are obviously having the most fun: Becky, Jackie, Liz and then Kelsey with her head pasted on someone else's body lol. (Meg, I guess) 

I'm pretty sure Howie is either about to give Arlie a neck massage or strangle him (I'd suggest the latter). And, I wonder what Corey and Steve are dreaming about over there? Steve needs to come back to the game, btw!

I almost didn't know who that was on the far left (sorry Kat lol), but then I figured it out with the *spoilers* thought bubble haha. <3

Oh, also David is very inappropriately ogling Porsche's chest and I'm pretty sure that is not a veto on Ika's shirt but her hair (I still circled it anyway, lol). 

Anyway, this veto was pretty hard but I wasn't really trying to win it. That would put me in a bad spot. I just like to compete so I took my time, and I did horribly anyway. When I started making up vetoes out of nothing, I figured it was time to pack it in.

So, this week I have a LOT to say which is why I've been avoiding my DR. I am so lazy, and was dreading coming in here and typing it all out. But here goes, anyway... (next post)

Jelli is still a thing, yay! Jun and I have been talking about making this alliance photo forever so I finally just took my mediocre graphics skills and did it. Anyway, she seemed to like it and I'm sure you've seen it already. But anyway, this alliance is important to me but it is also already paying off. 

I feel like the game has really begun this week. Maybe it's just that I have a bit more knowledge now, and obviously knowledge is power. I certainly don't have the HOH power but I think I'm okay with that right now. 

Just to skip back a bit and talk about last week's eviction... I liked Tiff but she had this weird play style which just made it hard to work with her. Basically, she would come onto Discord, say hi, do a few of these: and then say she had to go to bed. I mean, yeah, she probably would have had my back which is big, but she wasn't really someone that other people cared to keep around. So, while I would much rather have had her stay over Jackie (of course!), I wasn't going to get into a losing battle to save her when she wasn't really helping herself. And I felt it was a losing battle. I guess she was mad about it and that's fine. Her exit speech just solidified why she was a hard person to work with. 

Skipping back to the present week now... I did want to win HOH and thought I had done fairly well, but I just wasn't fast enough. I was still pretty happy to be in Cody's clique so he couldn't put me up. I don't think Becky would put me up - I'd be pretty surprised if she did. But, I'll get to Basic Becky more in a bit. Cody is someone that I still don't talk to much but I am starting to have more of a respect for tbh. Maybe just because he nominated within seconds of winning HOH lol! While I loved Ika's comment about that, I can definitely appreciate a good decision-maker. So, good for him! He knows what he wants and he's not afraid to go for it. Also, I think Cody is someone I might want to/need to get closer to in this game so I'm going to give it more of an effort. I feel like our one sentence convos are slowly evolving into two sentences and we're now also exchanging gifs, which is a step in the right direction. He sent me this last night on Discord after I was taunting him about how he couldn't nominate me: 

It was pretty funny since I used this exact gif to express my disgust at his HOH win last week. Coincidence... or a sign? 

So, Kelsey and I have been talking more and sharing more info and, while I am aware of Kelsey's threat factor, I feel that she trusts me and she has a LOT of information which I need. Jun, as well. While I also understand what a big threat Jun is, I also just JELL with her lol. And she has given me some new information which may prove to be essential. 

Jun told me she was invited into an alliance with Zach, Becky and Natalie. She told me this a couple of days ago, before HOH results went up. I debated on whether to keep this to myself but decided to tell Kelsey. I am hoping this wasn't a mistake but I don't really think it was. I think Kelsey is smart enough to keep this quiet until it's time to use it. And, there are people I need out of the game and I need other people to take them out. So, when we happened to be on a call with Becky, celebrating Becky's HOH win, it was fresh information so some of the things Becky was saying, like being clueless about who Nat is working with, were pretty funny. Kelsey and I were typing "LIAR!" to eachother while the call was going on. It seems the same people are going to gravitate together and work together which is fine. It shows me I can't trust Becky as much as I wanted to but it's not a big surprise lol. It also shows me that my "secret" thing with Zach is just a side thing for him, which I have been feeling, anyway. 

From what I'm gathering, Zach/Becky/Natalie are all really tight. And Jun/Becky are really tight. I already knew Becky/Natalie were tight from season 14. And Jun/Natalie were tight from season 15. According to Jun, Zach was the one who started the alliance up wanting Jun/Becky and then Becky added Natalie. I know Kelsey wants to try to get Zach out, which is fine... but I'd much rather Natalie go out of that group of 4. She's the only one I don't have any kind of alliance with. It seems she has just as much interest in working with me as she did in season 14... which is NONE.

I also know that David offered Jun an alliance with him and Porsche. I already knew David/Porsche were tight and Jun mentioned feeling that Porsche didn't seem that into the alliance, but it obviously tells me that David/Jun are close. 

Then there's Arlie. On top of thinking he has a concussion despite not "having time" to go to the doctor to get diagnosed, he felt pretty strongly about creating a non-season 14 alliance. So, he apparently offered up an alliance between himself, Erika, Natalie, Becky... I'm pretty sure Natalie/Becky were in season 14, Arlie, but good try anyway. Maybe you should go ahead and make that doctor appointment. And while you're there, hopefully we can evict your friend, Erika. 

As far as noms so far this week, I would like Michael and Jen to stay which is probably obvious. I am growing closer to both of them - mostly Jen, though. We had a bit of a bump when she expressed frustration over the Tiff/Jackie vote but I actually like that she was real about how she felt. I think we got over that, though, and I feel closer to her now, actually. And our BBUS7 viewing sessions are pretty fun! We have a mutual Dr. Will admiration club going alongside a mutual hate for Boogie lol.

I really need Jen to stay this week because she's going to go against people like Becky, Zach, Natalie I think. I do think if she wins POV that Becky would probably put up by Porsche, and I need Porsche to stay in the game right now, too. Even so, I still want Jen to win POV. If Porsche goes up she'd probably be safe. 

My only reservation with Porsche is that I think she's too close to Zach and I am thinking more and more that Zach is way too connected and he's the glue amongst a lot of people. He currently has my back, but who knows for how long? He can't want me in this game for that much longer since I know he has other plans. I heard from Kelsey that Cody might put Zach up if one of his noms come down. It's an interesting prospect and this is kind of why I want to get closer to Cody.

I feel Cody already has so many people against him/after him, and the list is growing. So, why should I go after him? I believe he's going to wreck a few people before he finally gets wrecked. I just want to stand clear and watch that happen. I do wish Jen and Cody would at least come together against some mutual enemies even if it's a temporary thing. 

Other than that, I want to get closer to Howie and I'd love to talk more to Steve, who has pretty much just disappeared. Also Corey. He's definitely sitting back and chilling, because why wouldn't he? But, when he decides to play I want him on my side. I feel like this Zach/Becky/Nat thing is really a threat and is kind of infecting the house. I want to stop the infection and keep people from gravitating toward that power. 

Sorry if this was all over the place. I guess I'll bullet point to make it simpler: 

• Would like to work more with/get closer with Cody, Howard, Steve, Corey
• Porsche/David/Jun thing is there but maybe not a big threat to me right now
• Jun is proving to be a great ally and a good source of info
• My relationship with Jen is growing stronger, she's not afraid to make moves
• Dr. Will is the bomb (but Dan is still the best evah!)
• Zach/Becky/Nat are threats to me - especially Nat who I have no alliance with
• Arlie is annoying, coming out against season 14 (while also including some of them), and needs to go
• Kelsey is also a good source of info and someone who could help me get threats out

Lot's of big drama today and things are looking bad right now. I'm just going to bullet this because I don't want to write it all out. I am going to start with the good stuff and work my way down to the bad stuff but, be warned... the bad stuff starts really high up on the list lol:

• My tribe won in Dicevivor!
• I created an alliance today with Jen, Kelsey, Corey
• I watched "Get Out" and it wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be
• I have a headache
• Porsche and I are practicing comps because we're bored
  
• Steve got put up on the block (thanks Becky!)
• Zach told me he wanted to keep Steve but then, "oh it looks like no one else does so sorry" (okay Zach lol); he is pretty obvious when he's BSing
  
• Looks like Steve is leaving and Erika has probably heard I didn't want her to stay (but I guess this is better than Jen staying up there because it looks like she would've gone if she did)
• Looks like Michael is leaving and I'm pretty sure Ika knows I wanted her to leave over Michael
• Zach is controlling this game since the majority are doing what he wants 
• Zach said Kelsey was lying about him wanting Steve out but it sounds like he's just trying to villainize her to further his agenda with his "real allies" 
• Arlie is an idiot
• I told Jen and Corey about the "other alliances" I heard about from Jun (I had already told Kelsey) but now I'm kinda wishing I would have just shut up because...
• David told Jun he heard from Jen that she was in an alliance with Porsche and Zach and I think Jun thinks I told Jen about her alliances which I did but not the one she said she heard from David but idk how David would make that up out of thin air
• Jen denies she said anything like that to David and said she'll show me the whole convo when she gets home from the movies
  
• Jen is making racial jokes about herself to me so I decided to do it also
• Arlie is being dramatic and telling people he heard Kelsey tried to get him on the block instead of Steve (she did) and that she bullied and strong-armed people to try to get them to keep Steve (See bullet point about Arlie being an idiot)
  
• Kelsey got frustrated with Becky and now Becky is upset thinking Kelsey is mad at her or against her
