So sorry I haven't updated here in a while but honestly things have just been going pretty smooth for your boy Cody. Recapping last round I was able to snatch a veto win and keep my nominations the same. This meant ensuring that Michael went home. Between Ika and Michael I don't have a connection with either but Michael by far is more threatening and judging by the votes he had to stay (Shelli/Jen) I got rid of the right person. Also maybe Ika will realise those three also don't have her best interest in mind and won't be solely mad at me. As far as how the other vote went, I really wanted Erika to stay and she did by ultimately beating Steve 6-0. Steve was a wild card who considered nominating week one. As far as I'm concerned him leaving was a benefit to me as well. So basically things went really smoothly for me. Right now I think I'm coasting alright my main concern is coming across as too strong ? Without trying to sound completely conceited, but if I seem like someone that can't be beaten in challenges they could always try to escort me out the backdoor.

Looking forward to this week it was a little tense with me not being able to compete for Head of Household. Especially with most of the people I wanted to win dropping out early but ultimately Arlie snatched the win and I feel okay about it? I'm kind of on the fence with how I feel about him. We've talked, but at the same time he hasn't promised me anything and the vibe I get from other people is that he speaks a bit of game and I don't think he's showing that side to me... However, after last week I still think that I will stay off the block considering his falling out with Kelsey (I'm not completely sure what exactly happened nor do I care). All I know is that any drama is good because it shifts focus from me. In saying that I definitely want Kelsey to stay I think we've made good progress in terms of our relationship (I just can't let people know that).

Ultimately Arlie nominated Jen/Kelsey and I wasn't picked for veto (which perhaps is a good thing as I won't feel obligated to save Kelsey and show my hand if I were to win). This is a good set for me, Ideally Kelsey wins and pulls herself off and assuming as far as I know David goes up. I've also made good progress with David recently so ideally he'd stay and I get rid of another target of mine and get through to fifteen harm free. My main concern with this round is the fact that David was picked for veto. If he wins and pulls either of them off, the potential renom is kind of unknown ATM and maybe Arlie would take the opportunity to backdoor someone who's proven to do well in challenges like myself ? This can't happen, so that means I need to buddy up to Arlie as much as possible without it looking too forced to make him think keeping me is in his best interest. That means making him know I have clear targets that aren't him and keeping the conversations going.

Right now I feel like I'm doing well. Getting nominated round one might have been a blessing in disguise. It's given me the opportunity to establish clear targets / gather comp wins and come across pretty straight up with the way I've played so far. I also think the fact I'm not in chats has benefited me as well. I'm not gonna let a leaked chat bring my game down like last time. As long as I keep strong enough personal connections with enough people I should be fine even if there are chats formed without me. So yeah that's a bit of a catch up on my situation right now. If you made it to the end well done and I'll try to keep them shorter / more frequent from now on.
