Round 9

That round worked out okay, considering I was put up on the block. It’s really unfortunate that Kelsey had to use the diamond power of veto. It would have been amazing if she got to keep it for later, but I’m not complaining. I would have definitely left against Natalie, and I would much rather still be in the game than having to fight to make jury and needing to trust some shady, shady people.

Jun leaving was fantastic too. She was such an amazing player and I have a ton of respect for her. She’s in the best position in the game, her alliance gets blown up, she recovers and is in a great position again. Kat leaks her alliance, people are FINALLY coming after her, the person most responsible for spreading it wins HOH, and...doesn’t target her.

Even Howard was talking to Kelsey begging her not to put up Jun with the DPOV. Um, Howard, I thought you didn’t trust Jun? And also, how is everyone after Jun if the hoh didn’t put her on the block? The “everyone is after Jun so let’s target somebody else” argument is something that Jun herself was using, and it was working. Jun would have survived the last week and as long as she made it past this one, she would make it really really far, and then she would make the final 4 and everyone would be wondering how they let her get there.

For now, the obvious thing for me to do is to target Erika. She nominated me, lied to me all week about her target, lied to me about being safe, and didn’t even give me a heads up. After I got vetoed off the block, I was so looking forward to her coming online so I could question her. She finally logged on and this is what happened:

I have no idea what she’s trying to do. Is she covering for people? Is she trying to get me paranoid? Regardless, she lied to me and has no interest in even talking to me. If she wants to put me up, fine. Even if she promises me safety and breaks it, this is Big Brother. I won’t be happy but I’ll understand that these things are bound to happen. But at least do me the courtesy of telling me why you put me up? Is that too much to ask?

And also, she put me up because she was worried about me, Kelsey and Corey? We’ve never had any control. What about the alliance of four that’s been running the game THAT SHE OUTED?

Erika told me to target her and I happily will!

The unfortunate thing is, though, that I’m not sure if it’s smart to target Erika. I hate her, but she’s also not the biggest threat to me.

That would be Howard.

The conversation Howard had with Kelsey really sketched me out. After telling me how he wanted Jun out and how mad he was at her, he was begging for Jun to not go up, using the line of reasoning that Jun herself used. And then Howard asked Kelsey why she saved me and not Natalie. Thanks a lot Howie! Um, maybe because Kelsey isn’t going to do what you want and she’s closer with me than Natalie? The better question is, why does he care? If I’m up on the block against Jun, would he vote me out?

Howard told me earlier that he was “telling people that he would turn on jun, trying to prove the hunnies were over by what he said.” Um no, Howard. You show that the alliance is over through your actions. And your actions have been all about keeping the hunnies safe.

Howard is clearly close with what’s left of the hunnies: Natalie and Ika. Cody was also telling me about an alliance he had with Howard and Arlie. I also suspect that he’s close to Zach. Back when it was Shelli vs Zach he was adamant about voting off Shelli because “he liked Zach” and that always seemed a little suspicious during week 6 of an all stars game. And it also makes sense. Zach’s got to have more stuff going on too.

But Howard has deals with pretty much everyone else besides Jackie, Erika and me/Corey/Kelsey. He’s targeting Jackie but after that, then what? I can get Erika out but if I do that, then aren’t I just doing Howard’s work for him?

But Erika’s given me no reason to want to keep her around. She’s refused to tell me anything, treated me horribly and told me to target her. It feels very dumb to not do it after everything she’s done. I’m actually open to not targeting her right now, but she’s got to give me something too.

Ugggh so Kelsey wins HOH and I'm feeling great. She's my closest ally and will be going after the people I'm after. And maybe we can finally found out about what happened last week. But there has to be an MVP twist and suddenly I'm not feeling so good. I'm not going to complain since tbh if Kelsey hadn't gotten lucky picking the right box for the DPOV, I wouldn't be in the game. But it still really, really sucks.

I don't know who it is. Nobody has admitted to it. I don't have it, and Kelsey, Corey, Cody, Zach, Natalie and even Ika all say that they don't have it. Who knows who's telling the truth. If whoever got MVP isn't telling me about it, then it's clearly not somebody I would want to have MVP. And with Kelsey safe, anyone who wants to take a shot at her is going to put me up.

I'm jumping to the worst case scenario of Erika getting it. That would be awful and I would go up for sure. Arlie getting it would also be really bad. I can't have a game conversation with him and I wouldn't be surprised if he nominated me.

The good news is that the vote to save twist makes it easier to stay in the house as long as you have a couple good allies. There are 7 voters so the magic number is 2. If I get 2 votes to stay, it's impossible for the other two people to get more votes than me. And with Kelsey's tiebreaker vote, I would be safe. I'm allied with both Cody and Corey, so hopefully even if I do go up, I can count on their votes and be automatically safe.

Surprise, surprise, I'm nominated. But I actually feel pretty good. I only need two votes to stay with Kelsey's tiebreaking vote. I would be shocked if I didn't have Corey or Cody's votes, and that's two by themselves. Natalie also promised me her vote, and I don't see why she would lie. Erika just nominated her and Arlie just voted to evict her. She also said Zach would vote for me to stay. I really need to talk some game with Zach. I would hope I have his vote but the subject has never come up.

I also feel pretty good about the power of veto. I did really well compared to the times when this was run in season 15. If I got replaced, Corey would probably be the replacement nominee? I don't really know who he is connected to besides myself and Kelsey. I briefly considered throwing the veto since I would be more safe (I hope) on the block than Corey, but that goes against everything I know to throw the veto while I'm on the block. Almost everybody in this house has proven themselves untrustworthy at one point or another. It would also mean Kelsey would have to nominate somebody else if the veto was used, and I can't do that to her. So I went out and tried my best.

The most important question is, who is the MVP? I would assume it was Erika. She (allegedly) told nobody about her real plan to target me and I can see her getting MVP and telling nobody. And putting me up would make sense for her. But Jun also tried to ruin my game and Kelsey's games on her way out. I can see somebody else wanting to take a shot at us and wanting to blame Erika. Arlie, Jackie and Ika are all strong possibilities. Howard would nominate Jackie I think, and he's also away, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him want to take a shot. Another possibility is Zach. I'm trusting him more but he's also acted a little weird lately. Before nominations, I would bring up MVP and he would dismiss it

This is probably just paranoia though. And for the second one, I'm trusting secondhand information of something Erika said. But I still wouldn't be surprised to see Zach take a shot at me and Kelsey soon. He's a good player and he knows he has to do it eventually. I don't think he would do it this round though.

I'm probably just paranoid from being on the block. If I have doubts about Zach or anyone else, I can't let them show. I have to be nice and not question people. But in reality, the only people I care about are Kelsey, Corey and Cody. Everybody else has proven at one point or another that they aren't trustworthy.

The replacement should be ika? That makes the most sense I guess and I would feel very uncomfortable with Kelsey taking a shot at Howard while I'm on the block.

Okay, that's not as bad as I remembered it. I see he left himself room yesterday to wiggle out of it, but it doesn't make me feel confident in him. He's basically saying "I'm not saving you, unless it looks like Arlie is definitely going, then I won't throw away my vote."

I SHOULD be fine regardless though. Corey, Cody and Natalie have all promised me their votes and I think they will deliver but I don't really trust any of them. Cody's making jokes about how he's going to be saving Ika. That's not funny Cody! Wait to make these jokes until I'm off the block!

So that leaves Jackie and Erika as the swing votes. I have no idea what they would do outside of the fact that they won't save me. Cody told me that Jackie said that she wasn't going to save me because then she can't get a point for me being her DT, but that I would be fine anyway.

But Jackie only gets a point if I go, so she's clearly hoping that I leave! This shouldn't be an issue this round, but how long is the DT twist going to continue? If I'm up on the block and she's the swing vote, is she just going to evict me so she can get a point?

I finally found out who the MVP was. It's Ika. Cody was talking to her and she spilled the beans and he ran straight to me.

Ika is the biggest fucking hypocrite in this house. She was complaining so much about how Kelsey was fake and how she trusted Kelsey and Kelsey said they were friends and then Kelsey put her on the block. But she did the same thing with me!

Just look at this conversation from this morning. I mean, I knew she was lying then (here's some advice Ika: nobody believes you when you say you want to target the boys) but damn. She was laying it on soooo thick, all the while she knew that she wanted me out.

I'm done with Ika. She's all about how "real" she is and complains whenever anyone does her wrong. Meanwhile, she's entitled, fake, a liar and a hypocrite.

I assumed for the whole round he would save Ika, then he gets home finally and tells me he's saving Arlie, which would mean Ika was evicted. Which is great, and would buy him a lot with me! But then apparently Ika told Howard to tell people he was voting for Arlie? What even is the point of that? It just makes him look really really sketchy. My intuition says that he's going to keep Ika and Ika will laugh as if it was one big master plan.

but WE'LL SEE. He apparently is telling Zach he's voting for Arlie and idk why he would do that if he actually isn't. Why lie to over half the game?

Yesssssss. I'm literally grinning ear to ear right now.

And the best part is, Ika has no reason to be mad at me. Howard stabbed her the hardest. She's mad at Kelsey for putting her up. I did nothing to her this round, and I couldn't even vote. I thought about leaving her a goodbye rubbing it in her face, saying I knew she was the MVP and she made a mistake, but what would be the point? I really want to make it to the end, and I'll need her vote once I get there.

This game is really opening up now that she's gone. She was always going to be against me while being as fake as can be to my face, and I won't have to deal with that anymore.
