So heading into the jury phase of the competition I’m feeling really good actually. With my position right now I feel as though as long as Arlie/Ika don’t get into power I don’t have a whole to worry about. This week’s Head of Household competition involved doing as many challenges as quick as possible so immediately I’m excited. This is definitely something in my wheelhouse and I could see myself winning it pretty easily. Then I stop and think about it do I want to win? At the end of the day I don’t think the people I’m worried about could win this challenge and at the end of the day now that I’ve made a clear alliance with Porsche/Kelsey they’re definitely going to expect me to put up the likes of Erika and that’s not really something that benefits me. So I decide to do the whole I’m trying but not going as fast as I can just kind of a relaxed take on it. Then when the results come out I place exactly where I want to be near the top but not enough to snatch the win and in a perfect situation Kelsey is the one that happens to win. Which I’m pretty sure means I’m safe for the week. At Least that would be the case if the next twist of the game hadn’t popped up. MVP, which means there will be a third nominee and a vote to save rather than to evict. This makes me worried because I can’t control what someone does if I don’t know who that person is. My only hope is that I’m not a big enough threat that I’ll be the mvp nomination.
[break][break]
So with Kelsey as HoH my immediate assumption is that she is going to nominate the likes of Erika/Ika and when I talk to her she instead says she wants to put up Arlie/Erika which is honestly probably even better for me because I’m done with talking to Arlie. He probably knows I threw him under the bus the previous round and he’s just becoming increasingly harder to talk to. He really doesn’t give me anything in terms of what his plans are and he’s definitely not keeping me safe with his lack of challenge prowess. So the nominees go up officially and as Kelsey said it was Arlie/Erika. Erika proceeds to comment and dig herself a bigger grave in regards to her relationship with Kelsey and Arlie goes onto comment how he’s the most straightforward/open person in the house (oh my god is he actually delusional?) If he’s so straightforward why couldn’t he tell his own alliance member who he was voting out two of the last three votes? Bye. Then the more important part comes along the MVP nominee and it’s revealed to be Porsche. I’m over the moon that it’s not me and even though it’s Porsche I still feel as though we will be fine. The larger problem now is that the final nominees are Erika/Arlie/Porsche (all of whom will likely expect me to save them).
[break][break]
So when it comes to the veto, it’s another posting/speed based competition (I’m pretty confident I can win it). So like I usually do I resort to begging to Kelsey to be the veto pick because I have to seem like I want to use it to help out the alliance (whether I actually want to or not). Again I am picked to play in the veto (which i don’t know why this is so easy to get picked but I’m liking it either way). The next part is deciding do I want to win? Because if I win whoever I use it on is going to upset the other two. So basically I can’t win… I decide that the best way about that is too go as fast as I can (like they know I can do) but make a mistake in one of the patterns so that by default I can’t win.

The results are out and just like I had planned I didn’t win but ideally won't look like I threw it. Also the ideal situation happened again in that Erika won veto and will likely save herself. This means the MVP won’t get to renominate (which means I’m safe) and Kelsey will renominate (who I assume will be either Jackie or Ika) which is another enemy against Kelsey. I also will have an easier time voting to keep Porsche over Arlie/Ika or Arlie/Jackie depending cause I have legit reasoning to think they’re shady. So at the end of the day I think I landed myself in another ideal spot where I am eligible to compete next week and looks like one of my targets (most likely Arlie) will be going home and I didn’t even have to get the blood on my hands.
