So that round worked out perfectly. Ika played a huge role in getting me on the block during Erika’s HOH (despite lying to me about never talking to her after she won) and she was the one who nominated me last round (despite telling me how much she wanted to work with me and that she would never put me up). She was always going to be a huge thorn in my side and lie to me constantly, and I was her #2 target. Her not being in the game to spread lies is HUGE and I am so, so happy that she’s gone.
Onto this week, though. If I won HOH, I would nominate Erika and Jackie. Erika put me on the block and STILL hasn’t told me why. Today, she finally told me she could talk about it since Ika wasn’t here but she left before she could tell me why. So I’ll finally find out why I went up two weeks after she nominated me lol. Thanks Erika!
Even if it does turn out it was Ika manipulating her, Erika still broke her promise to keep me safe, lied to me all week about backdooring Jun and never even asked me about what Ika told her. That clearly tells me where I stand with her.
Jackie might be the least trustworthy player in the game. She was acting friendly at the start of the week and was apparently talking to Kelsey about working together. She stays off the block, the week goes by, Ika goes up as the replacement and makes it clear how her targets are me and Kelsey.
And what does Jackie do? She keeps Ika! I would get it if she was close to Ika or something, but it was clearly wanting Ika in the game to go after me and Kelsey. And she was sooo wishy washy about her vote. After the nominees were final, she tells me how Kelsey wants Ika out and she’s fine with that, so she’s going to save Arlie but she would save me if I was in danger. And then the next day, her vote suddenly flips to Ika! And when I ask her why, the only thing she says is that “it’s better for me.” Okay, Jackie. And it’s better for me to put you on the block because I can’t trust you at all.
So with two people who have been untrustworthy to me, I can just focus on them, right? Well, not exactly. I would love to get Erika out because she’s made it clear she has no desire to work with me, but I’m concerned about what happens next. Howard being the swing vote to save Arlie and evict Ika is amazing but I’m very confused about WHY he did that. I thought he was tight with Ika and he totally stabbed her in the back. I knew he was allied with Arlie, but is he tighter with him than I thought? Howard is also in good with the Zach/Natalie pair, and I’ve seen Arlie as Zach’s number since the beginning of the game (though he voted to evict him during the Shelli vote for reasons I’m unclear on). Luckily, it’s unlikely to be a solid group of four. Arlie voted to evict Natalie and Natalie isn’t happy about it, but I am worried.
Natalie said something that caught my eye too. She talked about how we had “common targets”. And that’s true. Jun, Ika and Erika are all people we both wanted out. But Jun and Ika are both gone and Erika hopefully isn’t far behind. And then what?
Arlie also caught my eye during the rambly speech he made in voice chat. He talked about how there were some people that he told “hey, I want to play this game with you and move forward with you” and that’s who he’s been honest with. Well he’s never told that to me!!!! So I guess I’m not high on your priorities, huh, Arlie?
So I’m thinking that Erika needs to go this week and then I can hopefully make a move the next week. Against who, I’m not sure. The problem is I distrust so many players in this game.
I do think I’m in an okay spot though, especially with Ika’s eviction. I’m allied with Kelsey, Corey and Cody in separate three player alliances and me and Kelsey kind of have a deal/truce with Natalie and Zach, and I don’t think they would break it this round. I really really hate thinking like this, but I’m pretty sure I’m seen as the #2 in the me/Kelsey pair and I would stay if I was on the block against Kelsey. The only worry I have is if she won the veto, but at least then I would have her vote to save?
