So last week Ika was evicted and I’m not mad at all. She’s someone I didn’t really have a strong relationship with and moving forward with her out of the picture is no big deal. Looking into the future I feel as though I’m in a pretty good spot, I’m not the biggest target and I honestly don’t see myself getting nominated this week unless Zach or Arlie win Head of Household. This week’s Head of Household competition was called Blankety Blanks which is just another version of the match game where you choose one of the multi choice answers that you think would be the most common response. The last time I played a majority based competition I completely over thought it so this time round my plan was to just base all my answers off of impulse and see how it goes. Then when the results came out it was clear I did a whole better, in fact so much better that I was in a three way tie for Head of Household between Jackie/Howie. Personally I feel as though neither would put me up so winning wasn’t a big deal to me, so when I lost the tiebreaker I wasn’t so worried about going up.
[break][break]
My main concern then shifted to the MVP competition (which I think I did quite well at to be honest). I accumulated over forty points and also found the special prize; “The MVP Blocker”. However, I don’t think I would have been fast enough to win the latter so my hope was riding on me winning the MVP. However, results are out and I don’t see anything in my confessional. Whomp Whomp! No biggie! I should be okay going into the nominations anyways as I’m pretty Howie will nominate both Jackie/Erika as that is what the house wants him to do and I feel like he’s the type of guy to try not make waves. Nominations come out and not only am I not up but the nominations that go up are just as I expected. Then comes the MVP nominee (and I’m pretty nervous), then I notice the MVP blocker was used straight away. Which meant A: I wasn’t nominated and B: The power is flushed already. Then the replacement MVP nominee goes up and it’s… Natalie? I don’t know who’s making these nominations but whoever it is I have a feeling is on my side (whether or not they told me they were MVP).
[break][break]
I soon find out that the initial MVP nominee was Zach, which makes me even more curious to who the MVP is and why they didn’t want to put up Porsche/Kelsey? My first thought is that it is Jackie because I don’t see why anyone of Corey/Porsche/Kelsey would make these nominations over Arlie? However, at the end of the day I’m not going to worry my little head over it. All I can do is make out that I’m on everyone’s side and then I shouldn’t even have to worry about being nominated in the chance that Natalie is removed.
[break][break]
At the same time as the MVP nominations the players for veto were also picked and it’s just my luck that I wasn’t picked again! However, I notice there’s another house guest choice and if anyone knows how to get themselves picked it’s little ole’ me. So I run up to Howie to ask and he doesn’t take much convincing at all, I tell him what he wants to hear in that I won’t use it unless he has other plans and that all I want is a shot to ensure my own safety. Howie says he’ll pick me and he’s kinda interested in the idea of saving Natalie and seeing who the MVP renominates.
[break][break]
The problem now is do I try and win the veto or do I throw it? I definitely feel as though I’m capable of winning this, I’ve done the challenge before in my season and I came out with the fastest time. However, everyone who’s nominated expects me to save them and everyone who’s safe basically expects me to keep it the same. The competitor side of me is just telling me to win it and ensure my safety going forward. But Howie won’t put me up, so the only thing I have to worry about is if Natalie is pulled and I’m the replacement MVP nominee… Even then I feel like I still would stay in the vote over those two and it’s unlikely the MVP will put me on the block anyways. So my final decision is to work out the puzzle as fast as possible and mistype the sentence to ensure I lose. That way I don’t have to show my hand, everyone thinks I’m on their side and I can move forward to focusing on how I’m going to upset the least amount of people in the vote to evict.
