So the eviction worked out pretty good. I was possibly the swing vote and I chose to stick with saving Natalie. Zach told me I was making a mistake, and maybe I was. But it came down to two things. One is that I just couldn’t trust Zach. I was involved in the plan to backdoor him and I know he knew that and wouldn’t forget. And with him barely talking any game to me recently, I just couldn’t count on him to follow through with what he said. The other one is, how do I sell it to my allies, especially when Zach staying hurts Cody the most, and he’s done the least to make me question him.
Natalie said she was grateful and I’m hoping she doesn’t nominate me if she wins. She said she would do Erika and either Corey or Arlie but it sounds a little too good to be true.
I confronted Kelsey about what I was hearing. She said that she did have an alliance with Zach, Natalie and Howard, which was the truce deal that she told me about. She also said that those three were talking about how I needed to go soon and acted confused when I said she hadn’t told me. Ummm Kelsey, you never told me either of these! I searched through my conversations and nope, nothing there! It’s really strange. Maybe she just forgot to tell me?
I’m taking Kelsey’s word for it for now. She’s clearly not loyal to Zach and Howard. But if something like this happens again, I might need to rethink where I stand with her.
Kelsey is pushing for Howard or Erika to be the next target, which I’m totally okay with. Howard’s close with a lot of people and none of them are me. I don’t really have that strong of a relationship with him and I wouldn’t be surprised if he put me on the block. We did have a good conversation yesterday about him just being after Kelsey but I feel like it was him wanting to cover his bases for the fast forward. He was probably worried that if it got around to me I would assume he was targeting me too. And Erika is fine with me for obvious reasons. She's lied to me and stabbed me because she believed Ika based on the fact that Ika was in housecalls. She hasn't even really apologized and barely makes any effort to try in conversations. I really don't like her.
I’ve been thinking about it though and I don’t know if I want to target Howard or Erika. If this HOH goes my way and me or someone I’m working with gets it, then me, Kelsey, Corey and Cody will suddenly be a majority, and I’ll need to make sure I’m positioned well within that. Erika is targeting Kelsey. Howard is targeting Kelsey. Arlie is targeting Corey and Cody. Natalie is targeting
. I really don’t know who she’s after, and I know she’s closer with Kelsey than she is with me. And some things she’s said has concerned me. She backed up Kelsey’s story of there not being an alliance with her and Kelsey and Howard and she is the only one who hasn’t told me about the group with those three plus Zach. I don’t think she’s tight with Corey or Cody but if she does get power, I can see her saying “okay, I need to weaken Kelsey but I don’t want to take her out now. I’ll go after Porsche.”
If only I had gotten a chance to get rid of Natalie earlier!
Yeahhh, I might have made a mistake keeping her, at least in a vacuum. But Zach couldn’t have been trusted either. Whether I made a mistake or not, it’s done now and I can’t second guess my decision. And maybe Erika will win the fast forward and put up me and Kelsey and all this won’t even matter.
