This really sucks. I was feeling really good about my spot. Kelsey and Howard had tried to pull one over on me and I saw through it, and I helped flip the vote to keep Cody. Arlie was someone who was going to make it really far if he didn't go this round. With all the chaos of the semi fast forward, who was coming after him? He was telling me he wanted to work with me and while that may have been a little true and while he wasn't after me, he was a number for Howard and he needed to go. I think I had gotten Cody's loyalty with how I went to bat for him, Kelsey was apologetic, Howard was exposed and I was even talking to Erika more. And then Natalie wins. It's not quite as bad as if Howard won because then his nominations are almost definitely me and Cody. But Natalie is a very scary HOH, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if I went up. Kelsey kept telling me "oh don't worry, she's going to nominate Erika." Natalie and Erika may not have a great relationship but at this point in the game, she would be dumb if she nominated Erika and Natalie is not dumb. The last game conversation we had was two days ago, during the vote. We barely got it started and then she dropped it, sooo that's not a good sign. Natalie is definitely not nominating Howard, which is too bad. If I had won the HOH, I would have put the two of them on the block together  Her not talking to Erika is promising and an Erika nomination would be great but from that conversation, I feel like she sees it as me/Kelsey/Corey/Cody all being "a side" and she's not going to risk wasting her HOH on Erika. What really worries me is how she framed it as me/Kelsey having deals with both Corey and Cody. And with her having a better relationship with Kelsey and the Kelsey/Cody relationship being strained, she might see me as the glue holding the four of us together. I would understand it if she nominated me, but I need to make sure that doesn't happen. Cody was telling me he thought it was going to be him and Corey up on the block together and I would be happy if that happened. Sorry Cody and Corey, but I see the most likely nominees as being me/Cody/Corey, and I can't have one of them be me. I'm really not sure how to approach Natalie though. I feel pretty worried but we did have a good relationship and I can't let my nervousness show. I'm mostly just upset at myself for flopping in the HOH. If I had fixed some of my mistakes, I might have won. |

This was the extent of my conversation with her yesterday. I kept trying to talk to her, she would say a couple things and would then disappear. SO THAT"S GREAT! Is she busy? Does she not want to talk to me? Am I going up on the block. She's always been bad about dropping conversations but never this bad. Uggghhhh. Should I have kept Zach?
No, Kelsey. This isn't as simple as an Erika nomination anymore. We ARE terrible for her game. Natalie knows about an alliance we were in that we didn't tell her (or at least, I didn't tell her) and it's all thanks to you. If you just don't expose our alliance to Howard, Natalie never finds out, and it's much simpler to get Erika nominated and evicted.

Yeah, I'm going up. I don't blame her but ugh. Her winning was the worst case scenario. A Natalie HOH is basically a Howard HOH.
Before I found out, Kelsey was telling me how I would be fine and Erika would go up. No Kelsey, she wouldn't! It's so frustrating because I knew this was going to happen, even last week. Would Zach make these nominations? I feel like he probably might? But I think I might have messed up. Sorry Zach! I talked to Natalie about me keeping her two weeks ago and she was like "Yeah, I appreciate it but I'm still putting you up!"
I have to figure out how I'm going to stay over Cody. I'm told I have the numbers, but I really don't trust anyone at this point. Kelsey knows Cody is after her so she should be fine. Corey says he would use the veto on me and apparently told Kelsey he wants me to stay. I have no idea what Howard and Natalie would do but they would be smart to keep me since Cody can actually win competitions.
I wouldn't be shocked at all if things change suddenly and the vote ends up 2-2 with Natalie breaking the tie to evict me.
Or Cody wins the veto, takes himself off and suddenly I'm the target. That can not happen.
ugghhh
I really want to stay, win HOH and put Howard and Natalie up on the block.

Erika keeps going on about how Natalie and Howard are working with Kelsey and to be honest, I see that. Erika is really annoying because every single conversation we have somehow ends up with her ranting about how much she hates Kelsey and it's like, okay, I get the point. Do you have anything else to talk about?
That doesn't mean that she's wrong though. Kelsey was allied with Howard and Natalie earlier and "forgot" to tell me about it. And that alliance supposedly died, but come on. Any time Natalie's name was mentioned, Kelsey kept deflecting and saying how we were good with Natalie and she wouldn't put us up. WELL ABOUT THAT. She went way out of her way to protect Howard and Natalie last week.
And now this week, Natalie was like "Oh it's final 7 and now that we're getting to the end, I have to target a threat." But it's like, Kelsey is a much bigger threat and you didn't even consider her. Natalie also told me she thought I would destroy her in a final 2, and I'm going to keep that in mind for the future. Natalie will never, ever, ever take me to the end.
I dont get why I'm supposedly such a big jury threat. Besides following Kelsey and seeing through Howard's lie hours after it would have made any difference, what have I actually done?
Anyway, Howard, Natalie and Kelsey have been going out of their way to protect each other. And the big thing is that Kelsey exposed our alliance to Howard. And Howard was telling me that when Kelsey felt like she needed to get me on board to target Cody, she told him "tell Porsche about PCK" which implied he already knew. In an apology PM she sent to me and Cody, she told us that she was paranoid that Howard "knew about a group she was in" but she was the one who told him about that group! So is her heartfelt apology PM fake?
What really bothers me is Kelsey's reaction to all this. Whenever the subject has come up, the conversation goes something like this:
Thanks for the apology but that's not going to be enough. I need to know WHY you did it. Are you closer with Howard? Are you playing both sides? What were you thinking? How long did you know?
Kelsey's never even tried to answer any of these questions. She just says "I'm sorry" or "I was a mess because I was on a trip"
And good job to her. Exposing the alliance meant that me and Cody are now up and she isn'. It's good gameplay but I also see what she's doing.
It's really annoying because I want to yell at her and grill her to get the full story but I'm on the block and she's not. So I just have to smile, play nice and act like this is water under the bridge. In reality though, I'm pretty done with her.

I don't have a good feeling about this POV. If anybody but Cody or Erika wins, Cody stays on the block and most likely goes and I'm in the final 6. But if Cody comes off? Things aren't as clear cut, and I'm most likely going home tbh.

If Cody does come off, then who goes up? I feel like Natalie's key ceremony reveals her thoughts. She's close to Kelsey and wouldn't nominate her and I don't think she wants to nominate Erika because "It's not good strategically" (though to be fair she's probably right), so that leaves Corey.
How do I stay against Corey? I should have Cody's vote. And I maybe have Kelsey's vote? Her loyalty to me is going to be tested. She indicated she would keep me earlier but maybe she wants Corey as her goat. And then I need to convince Erika.

I knew it.
So I've got two options now. Either try to get both Kelsey's and Erika's vote. Erika's vote will be very tough since she honestly has the best shot at beating Corey in the end. But maybe I can sell it to her? And more importantly, get Cody to sell it to her.
Or I can convince Natalie that keeping me would be best for her. And hopefully she can bring along Howie's vote?
That's probably my best bet. If Natalie decides to target somebody else or nominates Erika, I'm probably good.
Against Erika, I just need Kelsey (duh), Corey (should have him unless he wants to take Erika to the end) and Cody (He's probably Erika's closest ally left but I'd also call him my closest ally too)
Against Kelsey, I have Erika and Cody for sure and then I need to convince Corey that Kelsey is too tight with Natalie/Howard.
Corey's probably the most difficult person to stay against. Either way though, I'm going to have an uphill battle.

But I talked to Natalie, just hammering in the idea that Erika/Kelsey are good in competitions and nobody is actually targeting them besides each other. Natalie indicated it would be Erika if it wasn't Kelsey so I dropped the Kelsey idea and focused on Erika. It's very, verrry interesting that Natalie isn't even considering Kelsey. She said it was because "Kelsey hasn't fucked me over". Like, wtf? I haven't fucked you over either! And she cites me being a jury threat as a reason to get rid of me, when that applies a hundred times more to Kelsey.
But I just want to survive this week and then I can focus on breaking up Natalie/Howard/Kelsey. An Erika nomination gives me better odds to survive than a Corey nomination. I have a CHANCE to get Cody/Kelsey/Erika, but I have no idea if I could even swing Erika. I tried to tell her I saw Kelsey bringing Corey to the final 2 and she didn't seem to really consider that as a possibility.
Against Erika though, Kelsey will happily evict Erika. Corey told me it "would be awesome" if Natalie put Erika up and indicated I had his vote. And then I think Cody would choose me over Erika? Though if Natalie is targeting Erika, then I only need 2 votes.
So that's great! I'm not sure if Erika going is Natalie's best move, but I'm not complaining! Now I just need to make sure she actually follows through, and that I can actually get the votes.
Is Natalie putting up Erika going to buy her any safety from me? Well, not really! Natalie keeps saying how she sees me as a jury threat and with it getting down to the endgame, that means she's going to evict me any chance she gets. So that might actually make her a little more dangerous than Howard. But if Natalie wants me to tell her that I'll keep her safe, I'll tell her that I'll keep her safe.

I think that's the best move I don't think it's unreasonable to think I talked her into it? Maybe she was already leaning towards Erika but needed to have a good talk with me to seal it? But if Cody wants to give credit to Kelsey, I won't stop him. It'll just make her threat level bigger. I need to figure out how I'm going to stay first, though. And I think I should be able to stay. Kelsey is going to be thrilled to finally evict Erika. Corey gave me a scare but it sounds like he's evicting Erika I hate when people do that to me when I'm on the block or when they're the Head of Household. They're clearly trying to make a joke, but when I'm actually relying on them, it's not so funny. Cody has been really weird though. He sounds very detached in our conversations and doesn't sound excited for me to stay at all. I guess I was talking to people about hoping he didn't win the veto and left and maybe he found out that I was willing to cut him? More likely, he's just close to Erika. Which is weird how he's suddenly close to her? Two weeks ago he called her a "cu*t" (his words). I don't feel like I have his vote. And I don't know if I have Howie's either. As long as Natalie is still evicting Erika, though, I don't need them. But I want all the security I can get. People are weird when you're on the block, and I would hate for somebody to "change" their mind at the last minute. |
