So just as I could of guessed Erika went home. Although it’s not much of a guess if everyone’s telling it to your face is it? The one thing I can say for the remainder of the people left is that they’re definitely being upfront with their relationship with me. I’m told apparently that I have to leave because of my jury management and the fact that I’m likely to win. I doubt the merit of their comments, I do agree that I don’t think any of the jury can be specifically be mad at me. However, I also think they’re smart enough to value the other houseguests game equally if not better than my own. I think if I’m to have a shot at winning it has to be against Natalie or Corey. I can’t afford to lose one of these two going forward. Me against Kelsey/Porsche/Howie is an uphill battle I don’t want to face.

So as stated previously the only way to ensure my own safety is definitely by winning either the veto or the Head of Household. Preferably the first so I can have control and ensure I keep Corey safe (screw the rest). At this point I have no deals with anyone let alone final twos. All I have is an okay game relationship with Corey/Porsche. If they win, that’s my best hope at not going up instantly. I’m unsure if I should even bother at making a final two deal with anyone or if I should just sit here and let them weigh up their decisions themselves. That might sound extremely stupid, but I just don’t know if it’ll even matter? Like if I approach Corey and tell him that I’ve got his back and am interested in a final two how will he even react? If someone offered me a final two at this point I’d almost be insulted? Who knows, maybe I’ll try and talk out a more legit deal with him as he is the one who I want to sit next to at the end. However, I just have never really been able to have / hold the best conversations with him. My only hope is that neither can anyone else and he realises that I’m all alone at this point.

So this week’s HOH competition is called ‘Dear Diary’ and involves naming who said what from a list of quotes from the evicted houseguests. Previous competitions would suggest that this kind of challenge definitely isn’t my forte and at this point just losing the HOH could be enough to result in me losing the game as a whole. If not in me being evicted, it could result in someone I need to stay being evicted instead. The speed portion of the challenge honestly got the worst of me, before I knew it I had to submit and I didn’t even have a good chance at double checking the answers. I’m definitely not confident in a win this time round so all I can hope is that Corey wins (or even Porsche) and then for a veto challenge that I can crush. I’m still going to work on the other houseguests but at this point it's better for me to almost let them come to me with ideas because if I come across too strategic that’s just going to be another strike against me after already being considered both a competition and jury threat. You know what they say, three strikes and you're out. I’m just going to sit here and be talkative/not bitter/try to kill competitions and hope for the best.

So another set of not so ideal results for yours truely, with Kelsey winning the HoH competition. This pretty much ensures my position on the block. I at least tried and made an effort to throw a deal her way to show that I'm not just content with being a nominee each round. I essentially told her if she keeps me off the block I'll keep her safe next week if I happen to have a position of power. Essentially she assumes I'll put her up no matter what, so she may as well nominate me (which is completely true). My pitch is that I've never been dishonest with her and my deal is sincere. Also letting her know that with me gone everyone else is as likely to put her up as me. She will also be the one with the most challenge wins if I go home so it's just another thing going against her, especially with losing the right to compete next week.

At this point even though she says she'll consider it, I know she's going to put me up. Which might be a good thing? At least it gives me the opportunity to be vetoed by Corey/Porsche on the off chance (if they're not nominated against me). I'm assuming my block mate will either be Howie/Corey. For my own sakes I hope it's Howie, this will allow Porsche to more confidentially help me out because I know she wants Howard gone and she knows I'll do whatever keeps me safe. Ideal scenario is I go up against Howie and win the veto. Then Kelsey is forced to renominate and ideally myself/Porsche can be the ones who dictate who goes. I'm definitely more optimistic at my chances of staying this round over last round, as we lose numbers it becomes a lot easier for people to act without hesitation and at this point they know there are bigger threats than me left and they might not get another shot to evict them.

So that veto was a lot trickier than expected. I tried to set it up so that I could have two videos playing at once of each version and do a side by side comparison. I got the first six differences pretty fast but after that I literally was stumped, I couldn’t seen anything of difference within the rest of the shots. I finished with 6/11 and when the results came in apparently so did the others so it was a four way tie. As soon as I saw the tie I knew I was fucked because I waited until the last possible moment to post my guesses in the hope I’d find another difference. The only positive in the results is that Kelsey won not Howie/Natalie. I would be a whole lot more comfortable with Porsche/Corey winning it but with her I have absolutely no idea what she will do…

Kelsey put Howie up knowing that it was completely likely I’ll stay if he’s on the block against me. So now that she has all the power this week if she wants me to go home, taking Howie off the block is definitely what she will do. My hope is that in putting him up in the first place she doesn’t mind the idea of him leaving over me. If he goes down I imagine the chances of me staying completely evaporates. At this point each moment I lose a competition I can just feel the win slipping further and further out of my grasp. Even if I’m to stay my story is getting progressively weaker and my confidence to make a strong speech is shattering.

Obviously all I can hope for is that Kelsey doesn’t use the veto and Corey/Porsche can help convince her of that. At this point I’ve made an effort to downplay my strategic game a lot. I want to have more of a defeatist mentality, that will make me look as non-intimidating as possible (aka Erika). The more I fight to stay, I feel will only make my chances of staying a whole lot harder. It’s better that I play dumb and just be polite/talkative with the houseguests and completely understanding of whatever choice they decide to make. I’m not gonna put on a lot of pressure, I’ll ask calmly once and that’ll be it. They need to think the decision is completely their own so they’re confident enough to make it. So goodluck to me, let's hope this stays the same.

So step one worked out well, Kelsey left Howie on the block against me. This is definitely the best shot I have at surviving this round. I’m pretty sure I have Porsche’s vote on lock without even having to do a whole lot of campaigning to her. However, Corey is a completely different story as we don’t really talk a whole lot and maybe he could be easily swayed. I started off by messaging him trying to play it lowkey like I’m not nervous about him at all and I’ve got trust in him. However, as it gets down to the line (aka about thirty minutes ago) I start to hear from Porsche that he’s leaning towards evicting me. My strategy has now been thrown out the fucking window, no more sitting quiet and hoping for the best he is going to keep me here over Howie.

I basically type out a giant fucking essay and send it to him over Discord considering he hadn’t responded to me since yesterday midday and this is about my third consecutive post. I basically insinuate I know he’s going to evict me considering he hasn’t said a word to me. I proceed to drill into the fact Howie is going to be considered a better strategic player than me and that he has Natalie’s interests over his. That he indefinitely has a better shot at beating me over Howie and I know I have a good shot at beating Corey. I promise him final two (because honestly that’s what I want for real), there’s no more time for beating around the push. I tell him i'm dumb but im not stupid and that I have no intentions of taking the likes of Porsche/Kelsey to the end (incase thats what Howie has been selling to him) and that Howie/Kelsey will definitely prefer to keep Natalie and take her to the final two over him. All I have going for me is challenge performance (even though at this point Kelsey is looking like a better challenge competitor). I promise him if I win HoH he won't go up even if veto is used where as if Howie wins HoH he will definitely go up before Natalie. I basically just rant about whatever I can constantly till I get a response that is more confirming and after thirty minutes I think I get there. He directly asks me back “So, Final Two?” and sends a handshake emoji. This emoji better be fucking sincere or i will be so triggered and bitter on the jury. At this point the results should be out fairly soon and I better see Howie’s face in black and white.
