Whaddup Whaddup Whaddup. It is your boy C-Brooks! Here in the final two. I know some of you don't believe, I know some of you expected it and are rolling your eyes, but here I am. I want to thank Porsche for giving me the oppurtunity to plead my case here in the finals as well as being a pretty kick ass ally throughout the game. I have honestly really enjoyed getting to know you this season and am really happy you will be continuing your support of OSU. Also I want to thank Kat and Shir (as well as all the other hosts that helped steer the ship along the way). I have been around since Day One and you guys have made me enjoy Big Brother and have been a lot of effort into this series. To my knowledge you were the first ones to throw the flash challenges in and they have been frusterating players for years now! I hope you guys are happy with how I turned out because I think it turned out pretty freaking awesome. I would call it a Grand Slam. Alright now the question you are all wanting me to answer. Why should Corey Brooks be the winner of Big Brother Rise and Fall All Stars #3? Do you need more reasoning than to ease my broken heart? Have you seen ElFitVic and my girl? Well, I have a few more reasons. It is the bottom of the ninth and I am throwing on my rally cap to secure the win and add the trophy to the trophy case. {"A Rally Cap"} So following with my little baseball banaza. I will give you a cycle of reasons why I deserve to win this game. What is a cycle you ask, well it is when a baseball player hits a single, a double, a triple and a home run all in one game. So I will give you four reasons, each increasing in quality (in my opinion). Hopefully by the end you will be like damn son maybe I should vote for C Brooks. {"The Cycle"} {"The Single"} Maybe it is known, maybe it is not but I was the second MVP. I am sure everyone on the jury has sworn it wasn't them. Maybe it was obvious when I nominated two out of the three same people that the MVP had nominated when I won the HoH the following round. I didn't tell a soul and wanted to use it as an advantage to my game. It would be a lot higher if it wasn't for the MVP blocker. In the end I used it to help my ally Howard succeed in his HoH. Yes this is a minor moment of the game, but thats why its the single! {"The Double"} You may call me a leech. A follower. But I realized it was in my best interest to latch onto Kelsey early on in the game. One of my biggest critques will be my activity early on in the game. And if you want to not vote for me because of that, that is fine, but I don't think it was a fluke that I survived those early rounds. I made a big move by saving Kelsey instead of going with what anyone besides Kelsey wanted me to do which was either save Jen, or not use it at all. I knew that if I showed trust to Kelsey, she would show trust to me back and it benefitted when I was away and in a tight situation. Kelsey absolutely killed this game and I am not going to sit here and pretend I manipulated her to keep me early on. But I was able to figure out which ships would sink (Jen/Shelli) and which ships were going to benefit me in the long run (Kelsey). I was not as skilled at the comps as I would have liked or really expected but I made them count and was able to survive without them. {"The Triple"} When Becky left the game she called me the one word that you never want to hear someone describe your game as. "Inactive". While I was away that weekend and understood the frusteration, I did not think I was terrible on the social end. I do feel like post that round I definitely stepped up my social game quite a bit. I am never going to be a butterfly. I am not the kind of guy to stay up all night talking about this that and the other thing. But I think with most of you I made an honest attempt to get to know and I hope you felt that you got to know me. A couple big examples of this for were Howard and Cody. Early on in the game we had little to no relationship, but throughout the game and into the jury phase I got to know them both a lot better and in turn we began to work together. While I was not best friend material I was friend material. Which was my strategy going into the game. As long as you aren't the target. I made an effort to talk a little bit about the game and a little bit about life to every person in the game, whereas I think others gave up on a few people that weren't working with them, I think thats a big reason why I have my home run. {"The Home Run"} We discussed my early nomination and survival against Becky. After that round I did not get nominated at all until the final four. Now you can say its because no one considered you a threat but I don't think that is a fair arguement at all. I think I made sure everyone felt like moving forward I would be apart of their plans. The people that I didn't think felt that way, I tried my best to take out. Zach being the main one, after him I felt like everyone wanted a little bit of the Core. I made sure that no one wanted me out. Yes, the way I did may be the reason I lose that game and if that is the case than I accept it and will give my girl P a big hug and congratulations. But I knew coming into this game I wasn't going to be a power player for two reasons. First, because of my early season schedule. And second because I wasn't that well connected with people. I knew if I tried to be aggressive I would likely end up like Shelli. I won't lie I played far from a perfect game, I definitely would have liked to have a couple more challenge wins near the end of the game, but at the same time, I knew I was going to be at the end. I told people a lot I was not playing for a second, and that is the truth. After Zach left, there was only a handful of scenarios where I didn't end up here. Most people either wanted me in the end, thought I wanted them in the end, or both. I never threw a challenge, though sometimes it probably looked like I did, but I also knew in a lot of cases that I didn't need to win because of how I was set up. So there are some four reasons. If you aren't convinced hopefully you are a little in the ballpark of being convinced and can ask me some challenging but respectable questions. If you still aren't convinced I know Jun's real name and would consider telling you for a vote. But in all seriousness I had a lot of fun playing this game. I didn't go out guns blazing like I typically do but I did enjoy just sitting back and letting the game come to me. Again Porsche I wish you the best of luck. And thanks again to Kat, Colb, Estelle and Nicole for keeping everything running smoothly this summer. {"Bonus Reason"}#Bookends C-Brooks out.
